It's all well and good to have a quality fly line, but without a good leader, you're out of luck. The Freshwater Leaders from Scientific Anglers come in standard 9' length suitable for most situations and feature a longer, larger butt section for easy turnover. The nylon material features the highest wet knot strength in the industry and true-to-spec X sizes. You can adjust and lengthen the leader tip with most common tippet material made from nylon.
Each leader comes with an already installed perfection loop on the leader's butt end.
If you prefer classic standard knotless tapered leaders of high quality, these are the perfect trout leaders which we carry for you in the most common tip diameters.
