So far unique with Abel Reels you can order your TR reel with a fantastic customized design. Getting colors and even more patterns anodized on the reel is quite complex and takes a lot of man hours what makes it expensive. However it will give your Abel reel a stunning, individual look standing out from the rest. Choose from many great finishes and fashion your reel and spool as well as the handle up to your personal preferences and taste!

This is how it works:
To build your TR reel click the following link to get to the Abel web site and online reel-configurator: https://abelreels.com/tr-reel.html
Here you select all options you'd like to have your reel. You will immediately see how the reel will look like. Once you have determined your final design, put your customized reel in the shopping cart of Abels web site and then view the cart.
Here all options you have selected are listed. Make a screenshot and save it on your computer or mobile device and/or do a print.
Important note: Do not order your reel directly at Abel's website unless you want to pay import sales tax, duty, fees and high shipping costs and hassle around with customs. Instead email or send us your screenshot and simply contact us about your customized reel order.
We will review your order, if you want together with you by email, phone or here at the shop and then can tell you the exact price of your reel depending on the design you selected. Changes can still be made. Once you're sure about the final configuration and want to order your reel through us, we then will order your custom build reel with all specifications at our official German Abel reels distributor obligingly.
Please note: When we place your order a 50% prepayment of the total reel price is required via bank wire transfer. Before we order your Abel reel you will recieve an order confirmation showing all details as well as the bank wire information. Once your payment is received you'll be informed that your order is executed and down the road we will ship your reel as soon as we receive it.

The return of a classic. The new Abel TR stays true to the roots of the original, but with a striking modern design and feel. The partial porting of the frame draws from the Abel lineage, and its unique features are as inventive as anything Abel has ever produced. Crafted by our expert machinists in Montrose, Colorado, the TR is a lightweight masterpiece. An integrated precision-balanced clicker on the spool eliminates the need for a counterweight, yielding a clean look and retaining an iconic click-pawl sound. The pronounced palming rim is deliberately shaped to manually control drag pressure in all fishing conditions. The TR also features a large-arbor spool engineered to reduce line memory and increase retrieval rate. Machined stainless steel accents on both the frame and spool add that extra level of detail found only in an Abel reel.
