The Triangle Taper fly lines of renowned line maker ROYAL WULFF are our favorite flylines for trout & grayling fishing. It's unique, patented triangle shaped head design gives these lines superb roll/switch casting abilitites. The AMBUSH lines give you now all opportunities to persue any kind of fish - from trout, seatrout to pike or salmon and steelhead.
The AMBUSH flyline was designed to deliver outstanding rollcasting performance from single-handed and switch/double handed rods. It's short, heavy head loads quickly and makes a compact D-Loop, eliminating the need for a long backcast. A thin diameter running line coupled with J3 coating technology makes Ambush shoot like a rifle. The Hi-Viz two-tone color helps you spot the loading point.
Originally designed for roll casting in close quarters, the short 20'-29' heads are ideal for quick-loading of any flyrod. The line can be combined with all sorts or poly leaders from swimming to heavy sinking and can be cast Skagit and Scandi style.
No matter if you are looking for a line to cast large or heavy flies on a single hand rod or a great allround fly line for any Switch or Spey rod, Ambush lines are our first choice.
The Ambush FLOATING is now also available in heavier weights up to 600 grains, all featuring a welded loop and Tri-D Line ID on the heads tip.
