Stroft GTM is a superior leader material made of nylon. Its qualitiies are characterized in its high test and knot strength unmatched to monofilament Nylon tippet of many other manufacturers. The tuning focus of renown German manufacturer Waku is breaking strength with the simultaneous optimization of highly elastic suppleness. In addition to the main focus knot strength, the high performance silicon-PTFE tempered GTM line achieves highest scores concerning sliding friction, static friction, surface hardness, surface smoothness, yield strength, elongation at break, fine-load-elongation and strike-elongation, sensitivity, memory, flexibility, suppleness and softness.
The 25m spools already come with a foam ring, preventing the material from unintended unrolling.
We fish Stroft GTM as tippet for a long time in fresh and salt water because it has proven that we can rely on this thinnest connection to the fish.
