With this 14cm long forcepts from stainless steel you not only remove deeper seated flyhooks even in large fish mouths. The Alpine Angler Scissor Clamp has integrated, sharp scissors with micro serration that let you cut strike indicator yarn and monofilament leader material. The scissors can also be used to trim the silhouette of a fly pattern. The integrated needle pierces bonded hook eyes and the screwdriver extension on the handle is in some situations helpful, too. Our Scissor Clamp is produced in doctor-quality, the corrosion resistant stainless steel is very hard, which makes it not simple to bend the pliers. We took special care about the jaws and made sure that they are smooth inside the front half in contrast to conventional hemostats which are serrated what's not very useful for fishing application. Smooth jaws less ruin the fly while hook removal and press barbs easily and accurately down.
